Abstract

Learning new ways of conflict resolution, problem solving school is not simply a functional response to certain dysfunctions. He tries to activate another system, a new way of social regulation. It is an alternative: to school first and neighborhood conflicts in neighborhoods. It is a social movement. The experiences of community mediation, school, family or criminal does not aim simply practicing better justice or approach less repressive certain behaviors, but trying to reduce social tensions existing and create solidarity through a broader participation of individuals - in this case, students - conflict resolution, ie to improve communication and social relationships.
