Abstract

Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects the lives of millions of individuals and families across the globe. Governments have taken a number of measures to combat domestic violence, such as passing legislation, creating public awareness campaigns, providing specialized services and resources, and providing funding for research and public education. This paper will examine some of the public policies that are currently in place on combating domestic violence in various countries and provide an overview of their effectiveness. The paper will also discuss the potential for further improvement of public policies in this area.
