Self-defense - a continuing doctrinal debate
Keywords:
self-defenseAbstract
There are no creatures on earth, not even those animals we would call cowards, who will not show courage when they have to defend themselves," as the conservation instinct is inherent in all living organisms, very strong, which always manifests itself. Since ancient times, society has been based on an ethical-normative and cultural model composed of economic, moral and legal values brought to the attention of individuals through social norms. Thus, the groups of people became aware of the need to establish a social control, thus confronting the roles established by norms with the roles actually played, being sanctioned individuals who did not put the sign of equality between these two sociological concepts.
